This step makes Fn- F1 instead of F1 undetectable. I followed to set Fn- F12 key to work as in normal laptop.

When you use a Windows (PC) keyboard on a Macintosh computer, the keyboard shortcuts that you use map to different keys. I rarely, if ever, use the function key on my Mac keyboard.
